Eating Disorders and the Festive Season

This short CPD workshop, available in Exeter, introduces the symptoms and behaviours of different aspects of Eating Disorders, particularly highlighting the difficulties presented for sufferers during the festive season.

  • Can be undertaken as a stand-alone workshop, but also serves an introduction to our Post Qualifying Diploma in Eating Disorders: Brain, Body and Mind, which goes into the principles in considerably more depth.
  • Underpinning this workshop is the recognition that we all need to eat, that food is a constant in our lives in Western Society, forms a celebrated aspect of our Festive Season, and thereby offers extra challenges to those trying to manage their eating disorder.
  • This workshop, and the Post Qualifying Diploma in Eating Disorders: Brain, Body and Mind course it references, is designed to enable you to become a more insightful practitioner, which in turn will enable your clients to be more aware of themselves and their relationship with food.
