Course Details

Welcome to the information section of our Diploma in Supervision course.

The focus of the Introductory Weekend / Days is the experiential learning, which is designed to help you explore supervision, and investigate the course. These days are also for you and the tutor to establish whether this is the right diploma for you. If after the Introductory Weekend / Days this course proves unsuitable for you, we will offer support and guidance in considering suitable alternatives and you will be provided with a CPD Certificate of Attendance.

Throughout the course there will be an emphasis on clinical supervisory practice which will take the form of live case material on each of the modules. This will be through small group work with peers and larger group work enabling the practice and assessment of supervision. These hours will count towards the clinical hours required for the Diploma award.

What our Students Say

“My experience with the iron Mill was the best decision in my life, I would rate the IMI 10/10. I'm not saying it was easy, especially starting a new career at the age of 50, but I got through with a lot of hard work and dedication. Our tutors were an inspiration during the four years. Since I got my Diploma I have been so busy counselling, only last week I was offered another new job, it's amazing.”
