Existential Therapy WorkshopBereavement and Loss Workshops

With Bereavement and Loss being such an important and recurring topic we are offering four separate one day workshops, available in Exeter.

Each course has a different focus, and are designed to be standalone, however, students can benefit and develop an even wider understanding from attending each
separate session.

The courses are designed to give you practical guidance on how to be alongside grief.  They are grounded in knowledge and personal experience of working in this area and uses skills, exercises and creative tools which can deepen insight and are enjoyable.

Working in this area, being alongside powerful emotions can be challenging and triggering – we will highlight the significance of the therapeutic relationship and in the importance of self-care in order for you to develop your own resources in working with grief.

Plus we also hope you will have some fun!

  • Participants will gain knowledge that is research based, to inform their practice.
  • Students will gain knowledge of the practical matters relating to a death that are usually only discovered when we experience our own loss.
  • Learn about self-care and being alongside powerful emotions.
  • Discover ideas to support working creatively in this area.
